PlanWith (the "app") handles as little of your personal information as possible.
This page explains what the app handles, why, and how you can delete it.
In short: your tasks stay on your device by default and are not sent to our servers.
When you first launch the app an anonymous account identifier is created automatically and used for usage statistics; when you use the friends feature, your profile, friends, and the events you share are stored on a server.
You can delete what is stored on the server from inside the app, or ask us to delete it using the contact address below.
1. Information the app handles
a. Stored on your device only (never sent to our servers)
The tasks, notes, categories, and attached photos you create
If you have iCloud turned on, the above syncs through your own iCloud account (Apple holds it; we cannot see it).
This app does not use location. There is no screen that asks for location permission.
b. Stored on our server when you use the friends feature
Social sign-in information — if you sign in with Apple, Kakao, or Google to use the friends feature, the account identifier and email address that service gives us are stored on the authentication server. We never receive your password. (With Sign in with Apple, choosing Hide My Email stores a relay address instead of your real one.)
Profile — display name, @username, and optionally a profile photo
Your friend list, friend requests sent and received, and users you have blocked
Events you have explicitly set to "share with friends" (title, date, completion state). Tasks you have not shared are never uploaded.
Push notification device token — a per-device identifier issued by Apple, used to deliver friend request and acceptance notifications. It is no longer used once you turn notifications off or delete the app.
App language of the device — stored alongside the push token so that notifications arrive in the language you use the app in. It is used for nothing else.
c. Information used to improve the app
Anonymous account identifier — a random value generated automatically per device the first time you launch the app. The usage statistics and feedback below are tied to it, and if you later sign in to the friends feature the same value becomes that account. On its own it is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.
Anonymous usage statistics — only event names such as app launch or task creation are recorded. The contents of your tasks are never included. If your app's Settings → About has a "Send usage statistics" item, you can turn it off there; if it does not, please let us know at the contact address below.
Feedback — the message you write, plus the app version, iOS version, and device model to help us reproduce problems
2. Why we use this information
To provide adding, requesting, and accepting friends, and viewing each other's shared schedules
To find problems and improve usability (anonymous statistics and feedback)
We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties. The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.
3. Who can see your information
Shared events are visible only to friends you have accepted. You can also turn on "hide my schedule" per friend so that one person cannot see them.
Your profile (display name, @username, profile photo) is visible to your friends and to anyone who has sent or received a friend request using your @username. You can block anyone you would rather not hear from; blocking stops them from sending requests.
Server data is stored with Supabase (our backend provider) and processed only to operate the service.
We do not hand your information to anyone else except where required by law.
4. Retention and deletion
Delete account — tapping Settings → Account & Data → "Delete account" in the app deletes the sign-in account itself and everything attached to it (email and account identifier, profile, profile photo, friend list, requests sent and received, shared events, block list, push notification device token) from the server. This cannot be undone. Any feedback you sent and your usage statistics may be kept so we can keep improving the app — if you want those removed as well, please ask us at the contact address below.
If you have never signed in — the app still creates an anonymous account the first time you launch it. If your app's Settings → Account & Data has a "Delete server data" item, you can remove that anonymous account there; if it does not, please contact us at the address below.
Reset the app — "Delete all tasks" in Settings removes every task on this device.
Delete the app — deleting the app removes the task data stored on your device with it.
Deleted tasks in the Trash are permanently removed automatically once the retention period you chose (30 days by default) has passed.
5. Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
